Some results of my work

Viscous Flow

* This picture shows the gradient of the surface mesh nodes with respect to the drag coefficient of an RAE2822 airfoil in viscous transonic flow.
Inviscid Flow

* This is a result of a One-Shot optimization at Ma=2.0 using a Free-Node parametrization. The initial NACA0012 airfoil shows a strong detached bow shock (left), whereas the optimized design (right) features an attached oblique shock that produces considerably less drag (see Sears-Haack body).
